Pair of stonewashed linen pillowcases in Dusk with flat flange

Linen Pillowcase Pair — Dusk

$49.00
Size

Two linen pillowcases with a 2 cm flat flange round all four edges and a deep envelope back, so there is no zip or button to feel under your cheek. Made to match the duvet cover.

Dusk is a muted grey-blue that reads more grey in daylight and more blue under warm lamps.

The flange makes them sit a little larger and flatter than a plain pillowcase. The listed sizes are for the pillow they fit; the flange adds 2 cm on each side beyond that. Dusk can give off a little colour in its first few washes, so wash it on its own until the rinse water runs clear, and keep it away from pale towels.

Care. Machine wash at 40°C on a gentle cycle with a mild liquid detergent, and wash Dusk and Charcoal on their own for the first few washes. No bleach and no fabric softener: softener coats the fibre and makes linen less absorbent. Tumble dry low or line dry, and take it out while it is still slightly damp; the crumpled look is the point, so ironing is optional. Linen sheds a little lint in its first washes and softens noticeably over the first month of use. More on Care & Materials.
